• My first research paper, with the ARIA Lab at Mines. Novel localization methods using semantic segmentation and object registration. Deep in writing and experiments right now.

Heading into

• Finals at Mines, spring ‘26.
• Google SWE internship on the YouTube AI team, May–Aug: efficient neural architectures for video on custom accelerators.

Reading

• Video denoising models — prep for the Google YouTube AI brief.
• Google TPU and VPU architecture — the accelerator side of the internship.
• Vision-Language-Action (VLA) papers — setting up for fall at Mines right after the internship.

Thinking about

• What research programs best suit me as an undergrad heading toward a PhD application cycle.
• Where the useful boundary sits between learned models and classical geometric methods for robot perception.
